HP genuine ink cartridges can often cost more than the printer itself! There are others available and these will work just fine for a a couple of dozen pages and then suddenly your printer will say "incompatible cartridge".

It will then refuse to print, or delete the current print job or do anything at all until you give HP lots of money. I will never buy another HP printer.
