HP Envy 100 e-All-in-One is considered to be one of the latest greenest printers from HP. It is a multifunction color inkjet printer that is suitable for home use. It is easy to set up and it is the simplest among the three latest greenest printers from HP. It has a low noise compared to other all in one printer and uses a tri – color inkjet cartridge. It can be connected through a USB 2.0 port, SD and also with other memory cards. It has no Ethernet but it has an integrated 802.11b/g/n wireless networking. HP Envy 100 e-All-in-One is user friendly and environment friendly as well. It is completely free of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for easy recycling and reduced waste.

HP Envy 100 e-All-in-One features a 3.45 inch touch screen control panel which contains the printer’s controls. Printing speed is 30 pages per minute with black ink and 25 pages per minute with colored. Black text printing with HP Envy is clear but not as clear compared to monochrome laser printing. HP Envy can be used in printing assignments and important documents. It is not recommend for printing high quality photos. Photo printing with this printer is not the best you can find because it uses only a tri – color inkjet cartridge. The HP Envy does not produce much noise when printing which automatically results to slow printing output compared to other multifunction printers.

One great thing about the HP Envy 100 e-All-in-One is its retractable tray. The paper tray can hold up to 80 sheets of A4 paper and has a duplex automatic printing making printing jobs a lot easier. Ink cartridges are not pricey and are reasonably priced. Buying extra large cartridges will slightly tone down the printer’s running costs.

It has a 4800 x 1200 dpi scanner that can produce clear and detailed images. Scanning documents and photos is quiet just like its printing task. The flatbed scanner lid does not have articulate hinges which limits the printer in scanning bulkier objects like large books. Copier is working with a maximum copy resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi for black and white.

HP Envy 100 probably has one of the best designs you can see in any printer that fits perfectly in the living room being small, glossy look without any paper tray to be seen outside which you usually see with printers of today. It is perfect for home use being stylish, quiet and compact. It also features HP ePrint services an interesting extra that may attract more buyers to it aside from its attractive design.

Overall, HP Envy 100 multifunction printer is easy to use and set up has added extra HP ePrint features, quiet, the best design you’ve ever seen in printers with automatic duplex printing. It is not one of the fastest printers you can have and printing quality is not up to mark when it comes to photo printing but performs well when it comes to black and colored text printing.

HP Envy 100 is one of the first green printers to be created by HP in meeting the company’s environmental policies in reducing their GHGs (greenhouse gas emissions).

HP Envy 100 e-All-in-One is due to sell in the market this coming 4th of October at $249.
